Freed Gallery
features work by several glass artists from the Northwest and around the world.
Vase forms from Fire Ranch Glass artists Richard Nornby and Linda Allen in
Arizona utilize striking color combinations and encased textures. The work of
London glassblower Peter Layton includes brilliant colored works and designs
encased in thick clear glass. The gallery also features the simple elegant glass
forms by Washington artist Benjamin Moore, floral and figurative fused glass
pieces by Andrea Weir and the simple blown glass forms by Roger Dale combining
bright colors. Between June 21 and July 23, the gallery will feature the
flameworked figurative glass sculpture of New York artist Milon Townsend. 6119

Bird Nest Gallery features one of the
coast's largest selections of blown glass floats by several artists including
Bryan Duncan. They also offer art glass by Fusion Works glass studio and bold

Earthworks Gallery offers work by a number of glass artists
including blown glass vases, bowls and oil lamps in fluid shapes by Michelle
Kaptur. There's also large blown glass vessels by Chris Hawthorne (pictured)
combining trails of bright colors onto a waterlike background and utilizing
sheets of gold and silver foil. They're blown out to about 20 inches in both
formal shapes and fluid forms. Contemporary abstract wall pieces in fused glass
by Tom McQuaid are also featured. The gallery also offers freeform cut-glass
pieces by Lin McJunkin. They also feature work from John Cook and Rick Satava.

Gallery at Salishan features the work of
a number of glass artists. Several glass blowers are represented including Dan
Bergsma whose work ranges from richly colored natural flowing designs and
classic shaped vessels to sculptural pieces using sandcarving and electroforming
techniques. There's also work from Susan Glass, a longtime Seattle-based
glassblower, known primarily for her elegant fluted bowls and platters. Several
other blown glass artists are also featured. The gallery also offers cast glass
works by Gerald Newcomb, fused glass by Doug Randall and glassware by Julie

Ryan Gallery features large
blown glass fluted vases and platters by Susan Glass; floats, starfish and

Alder House III in Gleneden Beach is the
studio of Buzz and Anne Williams. They display their own blown glass works and
those of Mike Smith. Alder house is located on Immonen Road, four miles south of
Lincoln City, where you can watch the artists at work. The studio is open daily

Summer Gap
features the stained glass work of Connie Shoemaker. She works with leaded

Located just south of the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Aquarium Village,
Pyromania Glass Studio and Gallery features contemporary dichroic glass art and
live glass blowing daily. Pyromania also has galleries on the Newport bayfront

Gallery offers blown glass bowls, vases, paperweights and floats by Tom and
Trina Whitehead. You will also find blown glass paperweights in whimsical fish
designs by Brian Elahiff, hand-formed and signed glass chocolate drops by Patty
Hulet and Dan Bergsma's large richly-colored glass vessels with dichroic

Wind
Drift Gallery, Breach the Moon Gallery, Sticks and Stones Gallery feature the
blown glass work of Dutch and Aro Schulze. Dutch's work reveals layers of
transparent colors over opaque design patterns for subtly complex backgrounds
upon which he picks up hot twisted cane and murini. Aro's work is inspired by

The work of more than 30 glass artists including one the the coast's
best selections of hand blown glass floats are featured at Pacific City Gallery.
You'll find over 300 pieces of art glass ranging from large decorative pieces to
one of a kind dichroic jewelry. The gallery offers hanging jellyfish
chandeliers, table lamps, fused glass serving platters, glass wall vases,
