What is a CPA Mom?

CPA Moms is trade name given to Accounting and Tax Professionals who chose to work in an “relaxed” environment.  Some work from home, other work from personal offices.   Not all are moms, there are some dads.  Each CPA Mom is independent and licensed by their state CPA agency.

Being in a relaxed environment has many advantages.  Lower overhead, faster response time, more availability etc.

To be a member of CPA Moms, the CPA must ALWAYS be in good standing with their state licensing CPA agency, experienced, and must demonstrate  a high level of ethics, professionalism and proficiency.

Tax Net Inc, the parent company of the CPA Moms, has developed marketing and on line systems to help qualified CPA’s work from their relaxed environment and offer better service at a lower price to the consumer.  Since the CPA Moms do taxes and accounting of all complexities, there is always a CPA Mom available for every level of work.

Fundraising Articles

I have numerous fundraising articles that are available via autoresponder from sendfree.com. To receive a copy, simply click on the mailto link for each and send a blank message.

mailto:fundraising-articles@sendfree.com

Articles range in length fom 587 words to 763 words. If you publish one of my articles, please include my resource box (at the end of this article) and my byline. Thanks.

Here is a short batch of excerpts from each article:

CHURCH FUNDRAISING

Raising money for your church is an important task that deserves the best approach. This article examines campaigns based around donor recognition that aim to strengthen community ties with your church.

What does advertising do to help make a business successful?

They build brand awareness. Your fundraising needs to build your church's "brand" by reinforcing the message of who you are and what your "value proposition" is for your congregation.

No, I am not saying that you need golden arches out front with a neon sign that says "Over 1 Million Saved." What I am saying is that you want your supporters to have a strong emotional tie to your church.

FUNDRAISING EVENT IDEAS (#1 in a series)

Among the questions that I constantly hear are:

"What fundraising events don't cost a lot?" "What fundraisers are easy to do?" "Which events make the most money?"

And what's the answer to those three questions? It depends!

That's right. There is no one answer, no "one size fits all" solution. Fundraising events will vary in cost, complexity, and results based on a host of factors that are not often easy to control.

FUNDRAISING EVENT IDEAS #2 (2nd in a series)

As I mentioned in the previous article about fundraising event ideas, this followup article will delve into specific packages offered by suppliers. All of these are covered in my book, Fundraising Success!, so my comments will be short and to the point about these pre-packaged event offerings.

The first article in this series talked about the search for fundraising event ideas that are 1) easy to do, 2) don't cost a lot, and 3) make a lot of money. Of course, there's no one answer, no one size fits all perfect solution, so we'll discuss several supplier offerings for each of these categories.

FUNDRAISING EVENT IDEAS - #3 in a series

In the previous articles in this series, I've talked about the ongoing search for fundraising event ideas that are:

1) easy to do 2) don't cost a lot 3) make a lot of money

It's also been previously mentioned that there is no perfect event, i.e. one that fits all three categories. This article follows with further recommendations for events that fall into each category.

NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING

"How do you make more money for your organization?"

It's all about multiple streams of income. When you put together your annual plan, you need to build-in as many ways to make money as possible.

So, you're probably thinking: "That's easy for you to say, but how do I do it?" With a well thought out plan that doesn't make too many demands on any one facet of your organization.

Every fundraiser that you conduct places various demands on your volunteers, your supporters, and your leadership. Those demands can be time consuming, expensive, and stressful.

mailto:school-fundraising@sendfree.com

SCHOOL FUNDRAISING

"Do I repeat last year's fundraiser or try something new?"

That, in a nutshell, is the question we all face. It can be a tough choice between sticking with an easier repeat and taking a chance on a new fundraiser that might end up being more work and could quite possibly produce less profit.

So, how do you go about making that decision?

Start by determining your financial goals. You can't make any kind of decision without good numbers. You'll also need to break those numbers down for further analysis.
