You have noticed that your child is exhibiting some of the classic signs of being a bully victim. Now what? You should gently ask them why their behavior has changed. "Why don't you want to go to school anymore, you used to like to?" Do not put a lot of pressure on them at this time. As victims of bullying they are already stressed out, embarrassed, and fearful. Try to get them to talk to you about what is happening. Come right out and ask them if someone is bullying them. Tell them you want to help in anyway that you can. If your child does not tell you what is bothering them, you may have to take drastic steps. Watching your child in the play yard at school, talking to their friends, whatever it takes to find out what is going on.
