What are Pay-it-Forward Workshops?
The expression Pay-it-Forward describes the concept of asking that a good turn, such as a free workshop, is to be repaid by doing a good turn to others. The good turn can be in the form of money, time, services, or good deeds.
The three (3) Workshops below are offered under this concept, but the participants are encouraged to act upon this social philosophy of Pay-it-Forward. The general rules are as follows:
1. Try to Pay-it-Forward within 90 days at least one time per workshop. If this is not possible, then within a year from the date of the Workshop.
2. You may give money, services or time to one or more persons, but preferably not to an organization. You want to make the giving personal. You may not understand this, but the giving is for YOU, not them. It is preferred not to give to family members or close friends. If possible make the gift anonymous.
Pay-it-Forward Workshops Details
The Workshops are designed using small interactive group exercises that will give the participants a step-by-step approach to happiness and well-being. There will be very little lecturing. Participants will learn by doing.
The Workshops unites the rigors of Positive Philosophy academic research and the study of the Enneagram (Temperaments ) so they can be used in our daily lives. The participants of the Workshop will become better, happier and more well-adjusted as individuals and a more positive member of their communities, and society.
There are three (3) Pay-it-Forward Workshops offered in succession. Pick the workshop that fit your time and needs. You can pick one, two or all, the cost is the same, just Pay-it-Forward. In addition, there will be Pay-it-Forward Morning Break Out Sessions for Guest Presenters. for the current list of Presenters.

If you could build a wild, scenic park, tailor-made for recreation, you couldn’t do better than Smith Rock State Park, or, indeed, the entire region around Bend, Oregon. Climbing, fly-fishing, hiking, mountain biking—pick your sport—the region boasts high cliffs, great rivers, beautiful vistas, and hard and fast singletrack (as well as excellent skiing in winter). The resort looks out over the Deschutes River. As you relax on your private deck, watch for eagles—you may see one drop from the sky to pluck a trout from the water.
No matter how you spend your day, make sure you check in for a massage at the full-service health spa. This is real luxury in the Wild West.
